Rennie Pearson is a virtuoso multi-instrumentalist specializing in the traditional music of Ireland, Scotland, and Maritime Canada.
His dynamic performances balance foot-stomping dance tunes with soul-stirring slow airs and evocative storytelling. His engaging stage presence, humor and deep knowledge of the music and its history, opens the door for audiences of all ages and backgrounds to connect with the music he plays on the wooden flute, Irish whistles, guitar, bodhrán, fiddle and voice.
He has toured extensively across New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Canada, and China, performed at major festivals, and appeared alongside artists such as Yo-Yo Ma on international recording projects.
